The iTap vibe is a good basic vibe with added "touch" technology. It is 7 1/4" long and 3 1/4" around with an insertable length of 5 3/4". It has multiple pulsation settings that you select by "tapping" the bottom of the vibe. It weighs .3 lbs, I feel this vibe is a little heavier than most vibes.

The material is plastic with a velvet cote that makes it feel smooth and soft. It is non-porous and phthalates-free. The Velvet-cote material is compatible with silicone and water based lubes. The box states you should use rubber compatible lubes for this vibe. You can clean it by washing with hot water and antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. The iTap vibe is not water proof so be careful when cleaning to not get water on the battery cover area.

Now to the technical stuff.
The iTap is unlike other vibes because of it's touch-activated technology. To turn the vibe on you simply touch the bottom of the vibe. You also sort through the 5 different settings in the same way.

1: low buzz/low intensity vibrations
2: high buzz/high intensity vibrations
3: 2 short bursts then 1 long/high intensity
4: short bursts/high intensity
5: short low buzz then high buzz/low then high intensity

To turn the iTap off you must go through all the settings which is one of the negatives of this vibe. Also, the touch sensitive technology can be turned on randomly if you accidentally touch it. It is not too extremely loud but you can hear it through blankets. There is a battery casing inside that is made of rubber that holds the batteries in place rather well. Avoiding that buzzing you can get from the batteries shaking in some vibes.

The iTap is stiff and can be used for both clitoral and internal stimulation. The vibrations are throughout the whole vibrator so it's nice for internal stimulation. It requires two AA batteries. It isn't exactly small or discreet so be sure you have a place to store this. I store mine in a toy bag and it has had no issues turning on while being stored.

The iTap vibe comes in a classy looking box. It shows a photo of the vibe with flowers in the background. The actual vibe is in a plastic bag inside the box. The box mentions the touch-sensitive technology and the velvet-cote. It also says "tap me, I vibrate. Tap me twice, I pulsate"

The iTap is a great vibe for beginners because of it's simplicity and it's touch activated technology makes it a little different from other vibes.

I have used this vibe internally and externally. The vibrations throughout the whole length of the vibrator combined with the different pulsation settings makes it nice for internal use.

I really enjoyed the velvet cote and how smooth it felt. It felt a lot like some of my silicone toys as far as texture goes. I personally like a smaller vibe so this was a throw back to some of the vibes I had when I was new to toys. It was nice to go back to an old basic I hadn't used in awhile.

I liked the touch technology but I found it to be annoying at times. If you accidentally touch it the settings will change or it will turn on at inconvenient times. Also having to go through all 5 settings to turn the vibe off was somewhat annoying but not enough to make me not use the vibe. It would be nice if you could touch and hold for the vibe to be turned off. I would give this toy 5 stars if it weren't for those two negatives.

I initially liked this vibe with it's originality and simplicity. I had no issues with it turning on while being stored loosely in my nightstand drawer until today. I decided to do a clean sweep of my drawer and toss some old toys that I had no use for, freeing up some space to store everything in my toy bag. Well, when I put the vibe in with some other things it turned on. I dug through the bag, found it and turned it off but I am fairly certain it will turn on again and drain the batteries.

So if you get this vibe keep in mind that you should remove the batteries before you store it!
