Interactives mini dolphin by California Exotic

As I suited up to sample the delights of the Interactives Mini dolphin Strap-on vibrator by California Exotic, I noted the ease of the straps; which thankfully, lack the complexity of multiple closures. Yet, as I strove to reach orgasm territory, the straps failed to keep the dolphin in place. However, the control pack (with a cord that could stand to be a touch longer) does have indicator lights denoting speed and function. Admittedly, I had trouble figuring out how to turn the toy on/off. No instructions come in the box. There seems to be a random spot that you need to push; which unfortunately was unmarked.

So, as I sampled the vast array of vibrations ("10 new functions with power packed speed controls" to be precise) the tautness of the straps increased and/or decreased as I moved around, which was not appealing at times. Figuring this might have been due to position, I smartly flipped over onto my back, but the problem persisted. As such, a very passionate moment or intense mood was easily lost.

Moving on, I found the Mini dolphin to be unsatisfying. I had to do way too much work since the dolphin refused to nestle its nose nicely on my clit. It seemed to move forward just enough so that I was left in limbo. Spreading my legs further did not aid the situation either. Furthermore, increased wetness caused the same problem, which was when I realized that the dolphin's tail, while a potential bonus feature, served no extraordinary purpose. It would have been useful to have some vibration in the tail.

To ensure the moment was not lost, I abandoned the hands-free aspect, opting instead to grab the dolphin. Using two fingers, I maneuvered the toy against my clit. To my delight, the addition of my fingers proved orgasmic; given the clitoral and vaginal stimulation was graduated into five several speeds. The vibration was able to work its magic; depending on how my fingers were positioned on the back and/or tip of the dolphin.

Although the Interactives Mini dolphin is said to be waterproof, I found it to be disappointing in both the bath and shower. While the straps dried rather quickly, it kept sliding forward when totally wet; once again, bye-bye hands-free feature.

Okay, so the toy made me orgasm, but seriously, this toy is just "okay" compared to other types of strap-on vibrators with more enhanced features. Some changes I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to make the dolphin's body bigger and to put a vibrating element in the tail. Overall, I give this toy 2 stars simply because 3 stars would be too generous given all the quirks. In the noise department it deserves 2 Bees, while on the scale of vibration I'd give it 2 Vrooms. Despite the tail not vibrating and the size of its body, the Mini Dolphin's vibration was rather strong/intense depending on the speed/function selected but not always in the "right" place.
