Doc Johnson’s iRabbit was my very first rabbit-style vibrator, and it gave birth to my love of this type of vibe. It is not the most sophisticated rabbit out there, but it is a solid, quality vibe that is non-threatening and especially good for the novice rabbit user.
The iRabbit is attractive, with pretty jewel-like coloring and shimmering white pearls in the shaft. It is also pleasantly fruit-scented, but not overpowering.
The iRabbit Vibrator runs on 4 AA batteries which provide sufficient, if not ample, power to the rotating shaft and a bit more power to the clitoral stimulator. As this is an earlier model rabbit, running both stimulators together does somewhat detract from the power of the other. The clitoral stimulator is almost whisper-quiet, but the rotating shaft makes quite a lot of noise and I wouldn’t recommend using it if you need to be discreet.
It features loose rotating pearls rather than the more prominent tracked beads of some other rabbits. I prefer the tracked beads, but the pearl portion of this shaft is large enough to provide sufficient internal stimulation and stimulation of the vaginal opening.
The clitoral stimulator is powerful and has two flickering tendrils on the top that provide excellent stimulation. It also does not look like an animal, for those who don’t like that sort of thing.
The control pad is located at the base on the battery pack and features on-off/speed buttons for both the shaft rotation and the clitoral stimulator. In addition, there are three extra buttons that control various functions for each of the stimulators, making the shaft rotate in a 180 degree arc instead of fully around and making the clitoral stimulator pulse at different speeds.
Overall, the iRabbit Vibrator might not knock your socks off, but it is an exceptionally durable vibrator that is an excellent introduction for the beginner to the world of
rabbit vibes.
I've read and heard a lot about this vibe not lasting, but it was my very first
rabbit vibe and I think I've had it about 4 years and it's still running fine! Heck, it even still has the pleasant cherry scent it first came with, amazingly enough! The main problem I've found with this vibe is that the free-turning, non-tracked pearls can tend to jam up. If this happens to you, IMMEDIATELY turn off the vibe to avoid burnout and try flicking the pearls with your finger to loosen them up--it's worked for me every time! Not the most impressive thing out there, but non-threatening and great as a beginning rabbit vibe!

- CookieMonster, thanks so much for your nice comments! I own over 20 rabbit vibes, and this one is a solid choice, however, it's not the most advanced one out there. The plastic beads can jam, and the toy is made of jelly, which are my biggest concerns. You can find rabbits in elastomer or even silicone in a similar price range from reputable companies, and also find rabbits with tracked beads, which eliminates the problem with the jamming pearls. Still, though, if you don't mind the jelly, this is a reliable toy, in my experience, and well worth owning. (Though, again, if you don't mind jelly, I'd recommend the Decadent Indulgence or Rabbit Pearl). Just use a condom over the jelly! Good luck and thanks for your comments!

- I think im actually going to stick with this one and get it next order. It being jelly really doesn't bother me, the only thing I was really concerned about was how well it would perform. You solved that thought by saying you can thump the beads to dislodge them :) Your review made the decision for me.

- Well, you've made a good choice of a reliable and enjoyable toy--I hope you love it!
Leave a commentI remember when this first came out on the market then I heard tons of things were going wrong with it like you've mentioned. But I own many toys made by Doc Johnson so I just cant decide weather to get this rabbit vibe by them or not. What do you suggest I do?
Wonderful review :)
