When my trusty old rabbit vibrator final quit on me, I immediately began shopping for a replacement. After some careful research I settled on the jennas beaver vibrator, and boy am I glad I did.

This toy has the typical features of a rabbit vibrator, such as the animal-shaped vibrating clit stimulator and the pearl-filled rotating shaft. However, there were also some great features that were a definite improvement upon my older model. First, the rotating shaft contained mounted metal balls, as opposed to free floating plastic "pearls". I found that this provides for a smoother, more even sensation and avoids the displacement of pearls during intense clenching moments.

Secondly, and perhaps my favorite feature of all time, this vibe has five (count them five) different vibration settings. The settings which include different versions of vibrations, pulsating, and accelerating, offer the opportunity to mix and match your favorite sensations. And when you combine them with the 10 speed levels for both the vibration and the rotating, it leads to an explosive orgasm. I personally like to start on the number four, move to the number two and then finish with the number one.

On the negative side, there seems to be a strange quirk with the vibration attachment. No matter what level or speed setting you used it at, it starts out with an extremely intense vibration when you first turn it on. After about a second it levels out and returns to the low speed and correct vibration setting, but the initial stimulation was a little painful. Basically, I quickly learned to pull the beaver away from my clit before turning it on.

Additionally, although this vibe seems to be a pretty common circumference of 4.5 inches, my personal preference would lean toward slightly more girth in the shaft, or more protrusion from the balls when rotating. The sensations provided by the rotating shaft tend to get lost when competing with the powerful vibrating functions.
