For the mid-range price, the buyer gets a powerful vibe with the flexibility to tailor the intensity of each orgasmic experience. Although it has its flaws, the Pleasure Bird is a clear-cut sure thing that won't disappoint.

Admittedly, I was initially attracted to WHK GmbH’s Pleasure Bird by its looks alone. It simply looks cool; and while the red and black tiger print doesn’t exactly endear itself to its feathered-friend persona, this dual-action vibe works much like a jungle animal. There is nothing about the Pleasure Bird that tweets like a parakeet, it takes hold and relentlessly drives you to a quick intense orgasm… if you so desire, of course. With the separate vibe and rotation controls, it is possible to embark on a wild ride and push your orgasmic potential.

With five and a half inches of insertable jelly PVC length, and nearly an inch and a half in girth, the vibe definitely is no bird-brain. It is thick, dense, and substantial in its realistic composition. Nearly an inch and a half from the tip, the G-spot stimulating section of rotating beads begins.

This mechanism definitely doesn’t tickle, it provides strong and intense massaging, and any good safari guide would advise this action could be treacherous without some lube on hand to use in conjunction with a condom. This piece of the vibe doesn’t create much noise, either while inserted or not.

The clit-stimulating bird might also cause some preference issues. It is quite loud, even on its lowest setting; even while in contact with skin. Depending on physiology, the beak might end up being too long (it’s nearly a full inch) to even touch the clit itself let alone stimulate it. However, the bullet in the bird’s head makes up for any shortcomings of the beak. The vibes are strong, and an agile thumb can keep that birdie in just the right spots to get the user singing like a canary.

Both these actions, the G-spot and clit stimulators, are controlled by separate buttons on the base. There are eight setting for each, gradually building with speed and intensity, and illuminated with cool green LED lights that identify which settings you are using.

With this wide range, the Pleasure Bird user definitely can fine-tune and customize their orgasm each time they pick it up. Want to tease it out for an hour? Only have a few minutes to have a good orgasm? Want to see how many times you can endure the safari before you pass out? This vibe has the controls and capabilities to accommodate any journey.

Of course, with all good things, there are drawbacks. It takes four AA batteries, and the battery pack is located on the back of the base. This causes some fumbling moments because the position of the battery pack sits right beneath the thumb while in use. I did find myself accidentally pulling the battery pack cover loose while using the vibe. Perhaps the design of the vibe could have provided for a better internal clasp to keep the cover shut.

Also, the jelly PVC matrix has that distinctive strong Barbie doll smell, which does take away from the enjoyment of the vibe. Finally, the vibe is not waterproof, and with all the nooks, crannies, and electronics involved, it makes cleaning a pain. Perhaps an investment in sex toy cleaning wipes would be a good idea for any potential Pleasure Bird-Keepers out there!

In all, the drawbacks I have found are minor, and should not dissuade anyone from considering trying this vibe out. So far, the Pleasure Bird has given me the strongest orgasms out of any other toy in my collection; and with the ease and range in speed and intensity controls, I can’t see myself getting bored with it any time soon. Considering that the Pleasure Bird is also affordable, I think it is worth checking out!

Bold colours. I've read a lot about battery packs slipping; luckily, I haven't experienced that

The battery pack cover on mine tends to slip a lot, which is sooo distracting, must be a defect some get during manufacturing. But, I admit, I now use a little piece of tape to temporarily keep it closed! LOL! Winking
