Pearl luxe by Vibratex

I was super excited when I found out I would get to review Vibratex's Pearl luxe vibe because it would be my first triple-action vibrator-- that's right, it stimulates the vagina, clitoris, and anus all at once! In other words, this is a battery-operated version of "The Shocker." *grin*

My first thought was that the Pearl luxe is a beautiful vibe at first glance! I really wish the clit tickler was a different shape, though. If they’re going to stick an animal on a vibrator, it had better be a cute one. The Pearl luxe, however, has a chimpanzee to lap at my clit, and some sort of lizard to penetrate my ass with its tail. This is a minor issue, of course, but it still irks me.

This is the first toy I've owned that's made of Elastomer. It feels nearly identical to jelly— super soft, surprisingly squishy, and slightly sticky. However, it doesn't have that awful chemical smell that jelly often does. Also, elastomer is phthalate-free and less porous than materials like jelly and cyberskin, so it’s hygienically superior to most sex toys out on the market.

This is my fifth rabbit vibrator, and I have to say that this is definitely the quietest I’ve owned. What shocked me the most was that the rotating function is quieter than the vibration function! It’s still a rabbit vibrator, though, so it’s still louder than your everyday vibe.

The controls of the Pearl luxe have virtually no learning curve. There’s one slider that controls the vibrations of the clit tickler, and another slider that controls the rotation of the pearls and the gyration of the shaft. The two rows of non-jamming pearls are easily felt through the Elastomer covering, unlike in some toys where they are hardly felt at all. The clit stimulator is a lot stronger than I had expected, considering its size, and it really hits the spot. The anal stimulator is great, too! It’s very small and doesn’t have a motor of its own— definitely a tease more than anything— but I think that having anal stimulation on top of everything else really gives this vibe that extra oomph.

I never thought I would say this about a toy, but I also like how this toy lights up. It slowly cycles through all the colors of the rainbow, one at a time, instead of haphazardly flashing multiple colors all at once like some vibes do.

There’s only one real flaw that I could find about the Pearl luxe, and that is its battery compartment. The door comes off way too easily! However, the batteries don’t fall out when this happens, so you don’t have to worry about being interrupted when you’re on the brink of an orgasm. Luckily, this is an easy fix if you have a rubberband on hand.

Overall, this is a great vibrator that I definitely recommend to anyone— beginner or pro!
