I wanted to love my Red Devil Duckie. I love the idea of a duckie-shaped vibrator, and he's so very cute. Initially, I was disappointed. But when I tried him in his native habitat, I realized that loving him had been right all along.

While I was expecting my Red Devil Duckie to be heavier than the bathtub toy I grew up with, I was rather surprised to find he had the size and heft of a baseball, and was hard and solid rather than the soft rubber I had anticipated. I also discovered that he is unusually difficult to turn on; my husband can do it fairly easily, but I usually need to put the Duckie on something and press with both thumbs. Since it floats, the water counterbalances the weight of the toy, so that it feels far less awkward. The shape of the bathtub also encourages the position – knees bent and up a little, legs apart – that allows the Duckie to be used most effectively. The water cushions the vibrations, so that it was far more effective. Held under water, the vibrations tickled my legs and aroused me. Once I was ready for more direct stimulation, the weight and shape of the Duckie meant that I could hold it loosely in place, and the tail would vibrate firmly against my clit, allowing me to relax into orgasm without having to continually adjust the pressure of my hands. That was simply wonderful! I came again and again, until the water got cold.

If you don't have a bathtub, the Red Devil Duckie probably isn't a good choice. But if you do, the Red Devil Duckie will tempt you to spend far more time using it!
