Rosa is best used as an external vibrator. During solo play, her design makes it so simple to slip her on your finger and lay her right on your clit or tease your labia. She can also be used during sex, especially if your partner is entering you from behind and your clit could use some lovin'. If your partner has a penis, you could use Rosa to tease it or place it under his testicles during sex for a little extra stimulation for him.

Rosa's shape may suggest that she would make a good G-spot toy, but I didn't find this to be the case. She lacks size and rigidity for good G-spot stimulation. When used internally, I found Rosa was best at stimulating the nerve endings of the very entrance of the vagina.

Rosa should not be used anally. She could slip right off your finger and get sucked into your colon.

Rosa is made of pliable pure silicone. Hence, she is odorless, tasteless, and phthalates-free. The texture of the silicone is very smooth. There is a seam that runs along her front and back, but I didn't notice it during use.

Rosa is about 4" long and completely hollow except for the bulb at her tip. Inside her "shaft" is a bullet that's about 1 1/4" inch long. The bullet sits inside pretty tightly, so it takes a bit of effort to remove it and put it back in. I find it harder to put the bullet back in; if you simply push it in with your finger, it turns on and makes working with it difficult. The best method I've found is to squeeze from the outside in whichever direction you want the bullet to go.

Rosa is powered by two L1154 batteries. Watch batteries can take a little more effort to find than your standard AA's, but they tend to have a much longer life. I'll be sure to post a follow-up when mine die. The batteries were included and already installed, which threw me off a little since toys are supposed to be stored with batteries out. The good thing about it was that there were no directions on which way the batteries go in, so having them already in solved that. I've decided to store mine with batteries in, due to the difficulty of removing/inserting the bullet and the small size of the batteries (they could easily get lost).

The bullet is turned on and off by a button at one end of it, the end closest to your finger tip. The bullet has one speed, which may be a turn-off for some. The speed is a light buzz that's stronger than a tickle but not quite strong enough to get me off on its own. (Your results may vary.) Because of this, it makes a great warm-up toy.

Rosa is virtually silent, which is great. No worries even if you have thin walls and roommates.

Rosa is made of pure silicone, which we love. Since she's non-porous and easily sterilized, she's safe to share with a partner. She can be sterilized in boiling water for 3 minutes, on the top rack of your dishwasher (no soap), or with a 10% bleach solution. Make sure to take the bullet out before you boil her or put her in the dishwasher. In between sterilizing, you can use soap and water or a toy cleaner. Use water based lubes only, and keep her separated form other silicone toys.

Rosa comes to you in a simple pink box with a clear plastic window. I was impressed with the packaging until I took a closer look. Rosa is loose inside the box, which irked me a little. The box looks like it has lot of writing on it, but really it's the same few basic lines in a bunch of different languages. There are also a couple diagrams on how to operate the bullet. I was expecting some sort of literature on the inside of the box, but was disappointed to find none. The box is a little oversized compared to the toy itself, but you could use it to store Rosa.

Overall, I recommend Rosa to anyone looking to add a little something to sex or masturbation. I wish she came in a color besides pink, but the color's not a deal-breaker for me.
