Lucid hearts squirmy dream - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Spicey Mommy

I had another vibrator similar to this one several years ago. It wasn't as nice as the Lucid Dreams Squirmy Dream and it died after two uses, which the Squirmy Dream has managed to outlive so far. I'm glad I took the chance on this design again.

The Squirmy Dream is a decent size. Five inches of insertable fun that is roughly an inch in diameter, so it isn't too large and should be comfortable to use for many. The pink is a cute, girly color which normally I don't care for but it just seems appropriate on this vibrator. The insertable shaft has ridges formed out of the upside down hearts and the clit stimulator is shaped more like a swimming sperm, which I love because I always felt a little odd about little vibrating animals being pressed against my clit. It is made out of jelly, which some people don't care for, but mine has no plastic smell, which is an issue I've had with another vibrator in the Lucid line. I've found it easy to clean with toy cleaner.

This is very easy to use, there are up and down buttons for both rotation and vibration. Push one of the up buttons and that feature will start, each push will increase the the movement while down decreases and shuts it off. Rotation and vibration both only have three levels and moving up a level is a very noticeable increase. I am used to vibrators with dials to adjust them so this takes a little getting used to because slowly increasing the vibration just isn't possible. There is also a button to switch the direction of the rotation.

The clit stimulator is great. Even on the lowest setting it is pretty vigorous. The tip of the clit stimulator is firm enough that the vibrations still pack a punch yet soft enough not to cause any discomfort. Unfortunately the vibrator is loud. I turned it on and it could be heard on the other side of a closed door. The noise is not as loud when it is pressed against something but still noticeable to someone else in the room. I haven't tried it in the tub yet but I'm looking forward to that.

The rotation just does not do much for me. It is also loud, but not as loud as the vibrator. The two of them together though cause enough noise you kind of feel like you're using a power tool. The noise is not for nothing because the rotation has some pretty good power to it also.

So far I have really enjoyed this item. Normally vibrators are just an item for foreplay for us. After the lack luster results I had from my “rabbit” vibrator a few years ago, I did not want to try another one and get stuck with just the standard vibrators and bullets. Those are a lot of fun but nothing does the trick like having something inserted while the clit is getting rubbed or has something vibrating on it. This has done this wonderfully. We have used it in foreplay but I have also used it by myself with satisfaction every time.
