This is a really basic vibe that's good for external use and vaginal play. I wouldn't use it for anal play because there is not a flared base or retrieval cord. I like that there are a number of vibe patterns available on what I consider to be a starter/basic toy.

This vibrator is made out of hard plastic that is phthalates-free. It has a "velvet cote" finish which gives it a little more texture than a traditional hard plastic vibe.

This 7x1 inch toy is as basic as it comes and a good size for beginners. Two AA batteries are easily inserted in the base and I really love the fact that there are helpful arrows to make sure you get the end screwed back on properly. It's a simple thing, but very helpful.

If you're looking for a super discreet toy, this one is easily tucked into a drawer and won't draw a lot of attention. Of course, I should say that it's pretty freaking loud - which is not good if you don't want your roomie to know what you're up to!

In theory, I really like the concept of the iTap. Unfortunately, I don't think it is reliable enough to praise here. All you have to do is tap the end of this one to turn it on and cycle through the vibration patterns. Sadly, the tapping function did not work all of the time for me, so I would get stuck at one point or not be able to turn it on. To be fair, other reviews I have read have not mentioned this, so it may be that I got a bum toy. When it was working properly, it was really easy to use.

This one can't be sterilized completely, so I wouldn't recommend sharing it without a toy cover or condom. It is really easy to clean using soap and water or toy cleaner. Because it is plastic, you can use it with both water and silicone-based lube.
