The lotus is a great choice whether you are a beginner with toys or a pro. I think most people would be comfortable with its size. The Pearl Lotus was very easy to use and had endless function combinations. I would definitely recommend the lotus!
Pros:
Intense vibrations, targeted clit stimulator, easy to use control panel, tons of options, waterproof
Cons:
The lotus is louder than some other vibes.
I have never tried a rabbit-style vibrator before, so I was really looking forward to trying the Pearl Lotus. I was not let down.
The first thing I noticed taking the Pearl Lotus out of its packaging was its size. The Pearl Lotus is a medium-sized vibrator, not intimidating at all. The next thing I noticed was the soft and supple material it is made out of and the pearl beaded shaft [Editor's Note: This toy is made of TPR material]. I definitely could not wait to use it.
The functions on the Pearl Lotus were very easy to learn. The control panel is on the side so I was able to feel the buttons and change settings while it was inserted, which is very convenient. There is an easy off button located on the control panel which shuts everything off easily. The lotus has 8 rotating functions and 9 different patterns of vibration. With all the possible combinations I can’t imagine you would ever become bored with the Pearl Lotus.
In addition to the nearly endless function combos for the shaft, the Lotus also has a powerful triple action clit stimulator that offered very strong, pleasurable vibrations targeted directly on my clit. What really sent me over the edge were the 4 rows of spinning beads. They felt incredible! The Lotus is waterproof, making it a nice tub time companion. I find this very stimulating. I think that the Pearl lotus is a very versatile vibrator and would be a perfect choice for a beginner as well as a more experienced user.
The Pearl Lotus made a moderate buzzing sound which I believe could be heard through a closed door; therefore I gave it 3 bees. Because of the powerful vibrations I gave it 4 vrooms. And due to the overall ease of use of the Pearl Lotus I give it 4 stars!

Wow This is a great review it explains everything that I wanting to here about a toy for me.
Great review! Did you have any issues with accidentally hitting the controls with them being on the side like that. Nothing sucks worse that almost being *there*, then you hit the "slow down" button due to poorly placed controls.
LJP~ thanks for the comment, No I did not have any problem with hitting wrongs buttons by mistake. The side control panel was actually very convienient and i quickly learned the placement of the 5 buttons, which 2 on the very bottom control the vibrations, 2 on the top control the rotations, and there is one "all off" button to the side. once i learned the placement of the buttons i was able to use them by just feeling. hope this helps!
amberc, great review! Some TPR materials have a very strong smell, did this one?
NVC~ the rabbit ears really "hit the spot" for me! they can be moved a little bit to adjust where you want them as well. and i did not notice any strong chemical smell at all. oh and when the lotus is "in use" and i get it on the settings i want i hold it by the rabbit ears so i can direct them right where i need them
