The Promise Finger Ring bullet by Evolved is a cute and functional addition to your playtime. Its buzzy vibrations are powered by three button cell batteries, and it's easy to use. It would be perfect for introducing your partner to sex toys, but more advanced users can appreciate its ease of use too. Simply slide the ring on your finger and press the button to cycle through 2 steady speeds and 3 pulse patterns to suit your mood! There is no scent or taste to the velvety smooth plastic of this Promise Ring. The velvety coating does add a nice bit of resistance when rubbed against sensitive areas though. If you don't like this type of sensation, it can always be reduced with the use of a proper lubricant.
The little 2 1/4" long bullet is not only coated in a velvety finish but it's also ribbed for extra stimulation. The combination is fantastic for rubbing across your clitoris! It's a very erotic sensation even before the vibrations are turned on. This makes it fantastic for foreplay but also a marvelous addition to sex as well.
The design of the Promise Ring bullet is like nothing else! The control pack is the ring itself that will fit a wide range of sizes. The ring is somewhere in between the size of a quarter and a half dollar. It fit on my middle finger, index finger and thumb well but also fit on my husbands ring finger too. It's not adjustable though so those with very small fingers might have a hard time getting a good fit.
The bullet measures 2 1/4" long with just under a 1" diameter. It has a rounded tip for pinpoint stimulation and a ridged body that is great for rubbing across your vulva. It also works well inserted into the vagina but keep in mind that this one is not designed for anal use. The wires could easily break leaving the bullet trapped in your butt. It's just not a good idea so consider yourself warned!
The bottom of the bullet unscrews to access the battery compartment. There is a little diagram inside that shows you proper insertion of the three AG13 button cell batteries required for operation. Six batteries are included so you'll be all set to go and even have an extra set on hand.
This bullet is very small and easy to hide. That would make it suitable for travel or for those who just want something very discreet. The box it arrives in is even tiny. It's a rectangle that measures 3 1/4" x 1 3/4".
This bullet is easily controlled by the single push button located on the ring portion. It turns the bullet on and cycles through the 2 speeds of steady vibration and 3 pulse type patterns. There is no instant off button so shutting the bullet off does requires cycling through all of the functions.
The vibrations originate from the tip of the bullet but travel well throughout its entirety. They have a powerful yet buzzy quality that should be suitable for most users. It may not work out for those who have trouble climaxing and require a very intense vibration though.
The Promise Ring bullet is listed as waterproof. I wasn't sure if it was just the bullet or the ring too so, just for my review, I filled up the sink with warm water and tossed the whole thing, ring and all, in. I left it on while it was in the water for a good 15 minutes. It does not float but I'm happy to say that the battery compartment stayed dry. I assume that the ring portion stayed dry as well. There's really no way to see inside the ring to check for moisture, but it still works so I'm guessing it stayed dry as well.
This one is quiet too. I could only barely hear it under the blankets and definitely couldn't through a closed door. At least you don't have to worry about this one waking up the kids!
This one has an ample cord length of about 29 1/2" too. That leaves enough room to reach whatever you need to reach. Just remember that the string will be connected to your finger via the ring though.
Since this bullet is made of plastic, it's safe to use either water, silicone or oil based lubes with it. Since it is waterproof, a silicone based lube might be a better choice if you'll be playing in the water. Silicone won't wash away as quickly, so it won't require as much reapplication.
Since the Promise Ring bullet is waterproof, you can simply wash it off in the sink with antibacterial soap and warm water. You could also use your favorite toy cleaner or wipe it down with Isopropyl alcohol. Either way it's sure to be ready whenever you're in the mood!
The packaging is really cute and tiny which would make it a perfect stocking stuffer! It's a thin plastic rectangle that measures 3 1/4" x 1 3/4". You open the top to slide out a black, hard plastic box that the Promise Ring is packed in with 6 batteries. Though I cannot get the promise ring to go back inside this box, it would be possible for someone with more determination. I guess you could say the box could be used for storage but I probably won't be reusing mine. It really isn't a gift type box though.

Not a bad bullet and some nice patterns. But don't forget to take the batteries out - it kills them super fast!

Im not sure how Im feeling about the rind design on it...kinda throws me off.
That cord is a real downside for me. I'd just go with one of their armor piercing bullets instead
