It does not take AA batteries. It takes C batteries. It died before I even got to use it! It's supposed to be waterproof. I was washing it for first time use and it wouldn't work after I washed it. No water got inside. It would probably be a decent toy if it didn't have that issue.

It's quite big, but I don't feel that the ribs hurt because the outer material is so soft. Maybe it differs from sleeve to sleeve.

This is pure pleasure....it's a little loud on the lower speed...but, the ribbing pleasure makes up for it...
Maybe ribs just arent my style.. but... this product seems to hurt, and irritate me more than pleasure me. The vibrator is also VERY loud.. It's ok... But unless you know you like ribs on a vibe, I wouldnt go with this.
