I have a faux leather that I really like I got from a nearby store. I also have several things that are an almost wetshine but I haven't checked the material, I know it's not PVC. I do have a few leather things so I'm not 100% animal friendly though.

I don't think you can go wrong with a good leather cat o' nine or Posture collar. I find some latex things appealing but I'm unfortunately I'm allergic to it. I like to DIY things wood, sand sandpaper backed paddles. I love turning common household objects into playthings. <3

I don't have much of a material fetish. Which is odd. But I don't. If anything, I'd prefer Leather over any of that stuff, but it's not by much. Vinyl just annoys me because it squeaks. Icky squeaking. To me, the outfit itself is much hotter and important than what the outfit is made out of. I'd probably say I have more of a fetish for satin or silk than anything particularly "bdsm-y".

I am still new into BDSM but so far I found I really prefer high quality leather and some softness...whether its from some faux fur or padding between soft leather peices. I think this is fast becoming a new thing for me

my favorite has hands down got to be the D/s fantasies and power dynamic involved. I love the leather and the pvc, but it doesn't do anything for me if there isn't someone nice and scary (or nice and victimy) wearing it.

but then, this might be because I spent my formative kinky years with very little money to buy leather, latex, or pvc (brainpower is much cheaper than good leather).

Though given unlimited funds, I think I'd go for leather first with PVC as a close second.

Can't do latex because it'll send my boyfriend to the hospital, but I'm partial to leather anyway. I was vegan for years, and secretly lusted after it. I love the feel, the sound, the smell...especially the smell.

I love leather, but I have to say that it's also nice to have rubber, pvc and steel collars that can get wet. For years I lived in a locking necklace and loved that I never had to take it off. While leather is great it has it's limits.

Leather is the only one of those that I really like, especially when it's combined with those gorgeous metal rivets... I like it best in restraints, I choose odd leather connectors over rope anyday, lookwise. I've never had any leather clothes... I do think that if my guy wants to be spanking my at all regularly when we live together, either some leather gloves (probably the biker style) or a small leather paddle would be in order... I've tried spanking myself and honestly my hand stings more than my butt!

On me, I like satin/charmeuse, lace, stretchy spandex (mainly for the fit), and mesh (fine to classic fishnet weight for the most part). Lace and mesh are more about the look, satin and spandex both feel nice to slide my hand against.

I like jeans and other thick, slightly rough materials on guys, I don't know why. Something about the contrast between soft, delicate materials and rough, sturdy materials? But unless we're chilling in bed or something, I think I'm more eager to jump a guy when he's wearing jeans or that thick material that guys' khaki shorts come in. Otherwise boxers work just fine

The ones I wish had been listed are hemp/silk (Rope) and metal (chains, locks, etc) and wood/bamboo (paddles, canes).
