This is something I don't know a lot about either. I suggest you Google it.

Just so you know:
desert=dry sandy place with a very low amount of annual precipitation.
dessert=a delicious course of sweets served generally after a meal.

I am on a low carb diet because of my insulin resistance. Fortunately for me, but unfortunately for you, I'm not much of a sweets person. I usually just avoid them all together, so I don't have any recipes. I do love Kalynn's Kitchen though. She may have some low carb dessert recipes on the site!

Something simple, like blackberries or blueberries in heavy cream is pretty good for dessert on occasion

Low carb cheesecakes... very easy and even can be made without the crust. Not I said low carb - not low fat or calorie cause they are loaded with both but that is just fine for most low carb diet plans. Use splenda in place of sugar or I guess stevia is another sweet option in place of sugar. Real full fat cream cheese and real full fat sour cream and heavy whipping cream - anything low fat or non fat has about ten times the sugar and carb content - not kidding - compare milk as an example. You can use sugar free jelly or sugar free toppings along with even home made buttercream frostings, peanut butter and sugar free melted chocolate drizzle.

Ditto on this ^

You can make things like pie filling without the actual pie, ice cream, puddings, and smoothies to lessen the carbs your consuming. Carbs aren't bad and shouldn't be avoided, it just really depends on the actual food you're eating. Try to eat more natural foods, not "white" foods (things made with typical white flour, pasta, bread, etc).

I'd go with some fruit, or a piece of dark chocolate. Or just do a small portion of a normal desert.
