Every year for Thanksgiving I debate on what dish I should bring to my family dinner. I'm still at odds at what I should bake this year! What do you guys think? Or should I do both?

I usually end up doing both for different people. Half our families like casserole the other half likes the sweet potatoes. Go figure!

BOTH!!!! I love green bean casserole though. Sweet potatoes I enjoy all the time in different ways but I only make green bean casserole around the hollidays for some reason.

Green bean casserole! It wasn't something we had at my house for a long time, but a few years ago my cousin brought some and I fell desperately in LOOOOOVE! I can't get enough of the stuff =P

Yum, both sound delish! Since one is a dessert and one is a food-food, it's hard to compare them. I like both, but maybe sweet potato pie more (if done correctly, of course).

Both! They're soo good but so unhealthy. Excpet i rarely get to eat sweet potato casserol since most recipies have pecans and my dads alergic.

Both of those dishes are a mainstay for Thanksgiving dinner around these parts. If I could have only one, it would most definitely for shizzle be the sweet potato pie!

more so, the green bean casserole cause we got 5 gallons of frozen beans in the freezer to use.(hubby hauls green beans in the fall, so we get large bags full at the end of the season)
