Affiliate lol. I read through the instructions on how to use it. I haven't tried yet but I like that there are detailed instructions on how to make a widget and things like that. I figure I will give it a shot. Have a few hundred facebook friends and most of them are stay at home moms like me so thats the route Im going to take.

I know. I love working at Eden, but not being able to win prizes makes me sad. Being surprised with a prize is awesome. The other members can win, though, and I'm excited about the ones we're giving away.

After a bit of being out of rehab, he turns back into an ass again, so it stays interesting. He gets into a relationship too!

Welcome to this month's EdenBloggers meeting! Are you guys excited for all of the neat coding information we're going to learn this month? I'm going to keep this pretty basic, and I promise that, if you can do the EdenFantasys forum coding, coding on a blog isn't all that different. It's pretty similar!

Throughout this meeting, I'm going to be using images to display the coding you're supposed to use. Since the EdenFantasys forum uses its own coding system, if I try to use HTML on the forums, it gets angry. So while I apologize that you can't copy/paste it, I do think this is the best way to do it. I also will provide the basic HTML with a “Your Text Here” placeholder, and I'll show it with what it would look like if you really used the coding as well.

What HTML do you know?

Ya, if it's the relationship I'm thinking of, it was their jumping the shark to me. I might try to get back into it tho

very very little, I can edit code a tiny bit if its basic like italics or closing a code, but I use my blogger tools to write the html for me

Sweet! That sounds great. I promise, after you get used to the affiliate program, it's really, really easy. It can seem confusing at first with all the options, but I'm always free to answer questions if you need it too. Or if I don't know, I can get our affiliate manager to answer it too.

I know basic coding. I'm not an expert but I can say I am getting pretty handy with HTML. I mean, I couldn't build a website from scratch or anything.

When I don't know how to do something, I resort to w3schhols.com, or youtube. Also I found it handy to C&P a previously made code, then start changing things in it just to take a look at the change. If I mess the code up too badly, at least I still have the original code in notepad.

Great, I had never really thought about blogging until last months meeting but I write a little anyway and figured it sounds like a good way to be able to say the things Im thinking and meeting new people.

I am the same way, I google or look in help docs, copy to notepad and play around with it to see if it works. I love bloggers preview feature because I can see if I screwed up.

I agree about meeting new people. I've met so many people through blogging. It's like a whole new group of friends I wouldn't have met otherwise. Joining in some of the community activities (for your type of blog) works well too.

I can't even count how many times I've destroyed a code by just forgetting a minor piece. Preview can help quite a bit!

Don't forget to add your blog to the Blog Directory if you already haven't. Not saying you HAVE to, but it's a way to let other eden bloggers about your blog
