It's not so sexy when the only people you've played pool with are family members either...
That reminds me of the time my best friend taught me how to play pool, and how to lean sexily over the table while shooting, "to look sexy for the boys." I failed pretty badly, flopping over the table with all the grace klutzy me could muster. XD

Either way, it looks more suited to beating down a robber than inserting into sensitive bodily orifices.

Thanks for inviting me to be a part of the Naked Reader Book Club discussion. Unfortunately, the time difference with Australia means it's not ... more
Oh wow, I'm so flattered that Cheyenne liked my story! I still remember reading her story and thinking about how I'd never been to a BBQ quite like that one!

Actually, I mean that in general. Not having read the book yet, I imagine the stories involving chess or tennis or other games of skill, the protagonist has the game down cold, he or she is not flailing about. Yes? No?
I personally hope there is some flailing about. Flailing, especially when trying to impress someone, can sometimes be quite cute.

Indeed you could. Isn't there a movie where someone is beaten to death with a giant dildo?

I suppose some skill might be necessary, but I think it's more of a mindset, a finesse, if you will.
Congrats!!

Definitely the players mindset is a large part of it, but apart from games of chance, there has to be some kind of mastery there. To use the "chess" scenario, I would imagine nothing would kill the tention faster than to have one player make an illegal move. Or... maybe that would ramp it up? I don't know, this is all coming off the top of my head.

And woohoo! Thank you

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, I think? That lady was killed by a giant penis statue in A Clockwork Orange.

I shudder at hygiene issues in a lot of erotic stories. I have to tell myself to quit thinking about that, because it's a fantasy. In the fantasy world, we don't have to worry about these things.

There's not a specific link. But here's a link to a search of "Cleis Press" link

If they see something they are interested in, they can click on it, make sure it's a Cleis book and that it's available.
