While I am sure it is not 100% of the time, they do stop, clean off, and then start back up. Like most things on film, they can do anything and make it look seamless.

Not yet, maybe one day. I went to an amazing Ossuary in a town called Kutna Hora though, just outside of Prague. It is what inspired my username and even email addy etc. The amount of time and dedication that goes into preserving Ossuaries is unbelievable! I also love how it presents a darker, more eerie side to Catholism and other beliefs. Things aren't always happiness and sunshine, and a walk through an Ossuary sombers you a bit, whilst still being quiet intriguing and mesmerizing! For me, anyways!

Ah, well that is reassuring to know. I'm a germaphobe, and even though I'm not the one on camera, it still freaks me out when I see things that look unhygenic.

sometimes it is truly unhygenic, but I think most of the big name companies its seamless editing

I was both disturbed and unwillingly fascinated by the artistry created from the remains of human beings. Of course, the bones were from victims tortured by the PolPot regime, so that just added another layer of disturbing-ness.
