I'm the opposite actually, but I still enjoyed reading it. A lot of the stories really touched on the emotional mindset of the sub while they were being bound, and it was interesting to me.
I can imagine.

How long do the samplers last?
I've not had mine for too long... I've burned one for a couple hours and it's about a third...to half gone. But you get six of them. I think it depends on if you are using the wax for actual massage ...it goes faster then. Or if you are just burning it then it lasts longer.

You can mix sugar and oil or salt and oil together with some essential oils for making it nicely smelly and use in the shower to exfoliate and moisturize at the same time.
That would work then. I'll definitely have to try it.

Although if you use sugar for a scrub you should use some grapeseed extract as a preservative or make sure you use it quickly. I made a vanilla sugar scrub for my daughter and it got moldy fast.
Wow, I'm learning all kinds of things tonight!

I haven't very little experience with erotica, but I have a book called stories from a hotel room that I really loved. There were a few others but I don't remember the titles I DID love Reefer Madness the book. SO good. One portion was devoted to the history of the porn industry too.

I am really interested in the extreme bdsm bondage erotica. It is much farther than I usually go with bondage but I bet it would drive me wild to read it.
There weren't too many of those in this collection. Most were somewhere in the middle between what people would call "vanilla" and "hard core". Only like 4 or 5 had sadism and humiliation and the like.

I REALLY want to read the Anne Rice books. I find her writing to be really engaging.
I was into Ann Rice for awhile. I enjoyed her Mayfair Witches series. I also read the Sleeping Beauty series but didn't enjoy those nearly as much.

I read Exit to Eden and did really like that... then I saw the movie... which I strongly warn ANY fan of Ann Rice NOT to see. It was horrendous. Then turned it into a comedy with Dan Akroyd and Rosie O'Donnell.

Mindboggling.

"Wired" is by the mega-talented Lisbet Sarai. I loved that story because of the number of computer cables that seem to fill my house... plenty of bondage equipment here!!

That's actually good to hear. I like most of her fiction but struggled a bit with the Sleeping Beauty Series (it moved too slow for me), and I have East of Eden but haven't read it because of the movie.

No one type was focused on. Really, there was a HUGE variety in this book. The only "sameness" about it was that most of the stories were from the submissive point of view.
Do you have a preference for point of view? RKB has done a couple of paired anthologies (She's/He's On Top, Yes Ma'am/Sir) that vary the points of view.

LOL! We saw that movie and actually enjoyed it. But then again we're the couple who think porn parodies are far more entertaining than the regular stuff.

The book is so much better/not at all like the movie.

I don't know that I ever finished an Anne Rice novel. I want to like her books, but they just don't hold my interest!

Funny thing is, I didn't MIND the movie persay (I love Dana Delaney) but I would've been disappointed if an Anne Rice Book was like that

I think, on it's own, the movie is probably fine. But knowing what the book was and then seeing the movie interpretation... oy!

I am not normally too critical of movie adaptations of books because I know they just... turn out different. But wow... lol
