Lost in Puerto Rico somehow seemed lower budget? Not just the location but the overall filming somehow seemed different. I have to say I didn't enjoy it as much because of the personalities. It was just a turnoff.

Yes, fairly similar, but I preferred Paradise Island. Some of the performers in Lost in Puerto Rico were extremely annoying in the non-sex scenes.

Paradise Island also had a lot of music which gave the filler scenes a music video quality. Lost had mostly conversation filler which showed their personalities, but not a good thing in all cases.
