I'm curious, how many of us here grew up in families where gender and sexuality were more of an afterthought than a defining characteristic? Where everything was just accepted instead of being given a rank of value?

I grew up in a traditional Christian household. If you were born a girl, you were a girl. There was no changing it. And you ONLY fell for those of the opposite sex. I wrote an article about it on Eden Cafe...

I was thinking bot within the same film. All/most of the videos seem to be individual scenes. I'm suggesting either a scene that potentially includes both (such as a three way or orgy) or a film with multiple scenes that include both queer and straight. The idea is to try and expose more straight users to the concept. Take me for example. I would not have experienced queer porn if not for this opportunity. Other people similar to me might not, unless it's part of a porn with straight scenes. Does that make sense?

i did, kind of. i was raised by a single dad, and a lot of my values come from a place of "gender doesnt matter" hence being a "female" pornographer i guess, and eventually giving up on any gender identity all together. but my upbringing was REALLY, REALLY open and easy. whatever i wanted to be, whatever i wanted to do with my life, has always been widely accepted. my dad is now fathering 2 new born babies and him and his wife are SUPER awesome about not pushing baby pink and girl toys on them. im exceted to see how this works!!!

Not me, very midwest-standard family with 'classic' genders. My parents are not very open-minded at all. They both came from small southern towns with strong religious communities.

i have really been battling this a lot, like, how to get straight people watching my stuff because i DO feel like it have boner-worthy moments for ANYBODY and everybody. i think that Live Sex Show deals with it a little, but i think that Fuckstyles is going to be the real ground-breaking moment where straight people see it and say, OMG this is HOT, and then get access to the queer content in the film and say, OMG, this is STILL hot!!!

I never questioned my gender until recently, didn't think I had a choice. I always preferred being a "Tom Boy" as a child, now, I enjoy being sexy, IDC how.
