i did, kind of. i was raised by a single dad, and a lot of my values come from a place of "gender doesnt matter" hence being a "female" pornographer i guess, and eventually giving up on any gender identity all together. but my upbringing was REALLY, REALLY open and easy. whatever i wanted to be, whatever i wanted to do with my life, has always been widely accepted. my dad is now fathering 2 new born babies and him and his wife are SUPER awesome about not pushing baby pink and girl toys on them. im exceted to see how this works!!! less

I agree! My family was very similar, I have 2 gay uncles, one of whom is genderqueer, my sister identifies as queer, and I as pansexual. That is just the immediate family!!!

I cant even begin to convey how wonderful it was to not have any pressure put on me in that aspect. less

I wish everyone was that way. My grandfather is gay.. but not out to most.. I have family members who won't even acknowledge him even though it was not known until they were older.. Pisses me off- He's still family and I will stick by him regardless of who he loves as I hope others would do for me, have done for me since I am in an interracial marriage. less
