#Workshop - February 20th@ 9pm: Crochet Toy Pouch

Ever gotten a toy that you really enjoyed, but it didn't come with storage, storage that is too cumbersome for your drawer, or that simply doesn't work?

Well, join me on Sunday, February 20th at 9 p.m. EST where I will show you how to make your own toy pouch via crochet. There will be video and pictures on Eden Tube and the forum to help guide you along.

All you need for this project is one ball of cotton yarn (Peaches n' Cream sells at Walmart for around $2), a size H crochet hook, about 6 inches of thin ribbon, a yarn needle, and some scissors! If you are completely new to crochet, just pick up these supplies in advance and head over to YouTube for a tutorial on basic how-to crocheting! Don't forget to do a tutorial on crocheting in the round as well!

This bag will not be exceptionally plush, but the yarn is thick enough that this will keep a glass toy protected against minor chips and cracks that can occur without a bag. Personally, I have replaced all my thin bags with these and made one for a toy that came with no bag.

Thanks for posting those tutorials. I went out last night and got the yarn and my first crochet hook. Now we are going to have 100's of chains laying around the house until I get it down to being able to make the bag.

Is it normal to talk to yourself when you are first learning? I find myself counting and then saying "one left on the hook" less
