The Shag is bigger than the Safari. For camping I would not chose anything white. I actually have the Shag. It is quite nice. Worth every dime. I would hate to put this one the ground though, the satin might snag. However, I have no doubt it would make a camping trip more fun!

I actually don't have either. But I just think the safari one looks more outdoorsy, more sexy for outside. That's just my opinion though.

Wow, I would be too afraid to bring something that expensive out in the woods where it could get dirt or anything like that on it.

I have the safari one, but I think either one would work for camping. They're meant to get dirty and need a good cleaning, but I can see the shag side maybe holding on to more stuff and being more difficult to clean. However, since I don't own that one, I really can't say for sure.

eh, just get a blow up plastic mattress if your not packing in (if it's a pull up site)

camping, so much fun! backpacking even better, find a nice secluded spot. love to be naked around the campfire

Either should work fine. I'd choose the shag throe just because I like the look of it.

I would say safari only because its dark and shag tends to pick up allot of dirty very easily.

Cassandra, that's really awesome news! I wish I have patience to wait, because I almost decided to purchase the Escape directly from Liberator.

I have a Liberator throw, but I don't think I'd take it camping unless I had all the space in the world and I knew I could keep it safe and clean. They're too expensive to risk getting all muddy or losing somewhere. Definitely bring a tarp of some kind if you're planning to set it down in the middle of a clearing somewhere.

If it were me, I'd just lay down a dirty t-shirt to protect my sleeping bag, tent, or picnic blanket. I do love my Liberator throw, but when I think of camping, I think of bringing the least amount of STUFF possible. For sex, I'd stick to the necessary birth control methods, my favorite lube, and a small and trusted vibrator (with a fresh charge or an extra battery).

After reading the descriptions, I would go with the larger shag, but also bring an old blanket for underneath the Shag so it stays clean.

I voted for the shag throe, because you shouldn't bring white for camping, but I'd actually recommend the posh throe because it's not as furry and likely to catch things.

I think the shag is better because you could put the black side down, but I can see where others are coming from because of the white on one side.

I have the Shag and the Fascinator (which is the solid color version of the Safari). Even though the Safari has white, I would bring that one. The dirt that you get on the throe will most likely wash out but the Shag will pick up all sorts of debris that will be a pain to get rid of and making lying on it more difficult. I would bring an old sheet to use on top of the throe so that you have a "clean" surface to lie on.
