Do you hate backorders?

I think we all do.

We all do--but it is nice when we get the item!

I don't think I have ever had to deal with a backorder other then when needing to return something or it not being in my order. If that happens I usually just get the refund.

The high intensity bullet (free gift) from my September 10th order is still on backorder. Ridiculous.

I usually can't order if somethings out of stock

Yes, I really do, I think that I am going to call and have them refund my points for them. I have several.

I hope my stupid tights come back in stock soon.

My aggravation with backorder is that here on EF it seems like when there's a toy I REALLY want that goes on sale, it's out of stock. EF will not allow fo rme anyway, backorder as in purchasing it at that sale price and just waiting for delivery until it's back in stock.

I don't mind on EF because it means that I got it for the sale price and it will be mailed to me as soon as it's available.

Eden had a 40% off sale on Nob Essence back in September. So, I placed an order to take advantage of the deal. Everything shipped except the most expensive item on the order. The Ergonomic One Finger was placed on back order. I waited several weeks, a month...nothing. So I called and was told it should be in in 2-3 weeks. I waited....nothing. So I called again and was told again, 2 weeks. I didn't want to cancel the order, so I had no choice but to wait. It never showed. I finally cancelled the order for a refund in December.

I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed that after 4 months, I was still not able to get the order filled.

I do understand that sometimes things do sell out and that Eden can't fill an order if the product is not there, but 4 months? It just seems like there could have been better communication along the way.

I think everyone does.
