We saw PotC the first time and I'm sitting there going, "He's doing somebody. He's imitating someone. WHO does he remind he of? Who is he doing?"

My Man just smiled at me and said, "Keith Richards. He's Keef." Turns out, Depp did base the character on his friend, Keith.

Not to take the thread off track, but Richards was supposed to be in the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie and when, evidently some idiot at Disney read his new biography, with all the sex and drugs, his scenes, already shot and ready to go, where cut from the movie.

He's KEITH RICHARDS!!!! Did they not know? The sex and drugs were a surprise? To whom? Idiots at Disney, evidently. He was supposed to play Jack Sparrow's father. *sigh* I was really looking forward to that, too, as it had been planned since the first movie.

Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka... I thought I was the only one.

I also would do Christopher Eccleston, Doctor Who from season one of the new series... The old one with big ears and a goofy grin, but not the younger, more dashing versions. Oh well.

In my opinion, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is SMOKING HOT. I just think he looks so sexy in the pirate get-up and that eyeliner, WOW. Just wow. He is a gorgeous man. I don't find him weird looking as that character at all.
