Who Else Agrees That International Shipping Rates On EF Are A Bit Much Sometimes?

Contributor: ShadowKitten ShadowKitten
In the shipping policy page I checked when I joined this site, the shipping rates for Canada and International seemed QUITE high. Multiple other stores I regularly shop at online have flat-rates MUCH lower and for any amount of toys shipping out the US to Canada and most everywhere else.
Most of the time it's 5.99, 6.99, as high as 9.99, but shipping to Canada *starts* at 15 dollars here?
Yeesh, for someone like me (that buys only a couple of toys normally at a time and is on a VERY tight budget, like 100 or so bucks a month to spend on things I like/want) that really throws a wrench in things for toy buying and sends me running back to those other stores in a heartbeat.

Anyways, the poll is basically to see how many would agree that lower and Flat-Rate International and Canadian shipping rates would be a much appreciated improvement to EF. I mean if other stores can send me half a dozen toys priority mail for 6.99 or 9.99 every time, I think EF should be able to too...who agrees?

Personally, I don't mind so much cause I get the packages sent via courier. And shipping to overseas starts at $25 so $15 isn't that bad.
I have bought a lot from different places in the US and the normal airmail shipping rates are usually higher than Eden and for a lot less.

Besides that, I get sooooo much more from Eden with points, GC and coupons. I can't complain.

It does not surprise me at all because there is reason that it cost so much. When going to a different country there is different cost and rules that they must follow.

I would like lower shipping yes, but they only ship with UPS to Canada and as far as I'm concerned are charging actual cost.

Free shipping is offered to American shoppers after $59. It would be nice if a discount was figured out for Canada and elsewhere that would be equivalent.

I'm in the US but I can totally understand the pain of those who have to pay international rates; thus I think they should be lowered. In the end, people are more likely to buy from stores with lower costs.

Since I'm in Europe now I'm going to stop ordering so frequently from Eden. I think I'll only order when it's time for me to do a free assignment. Shipping is just too expensive for me now.

I work in the shipping department of an online retailer and unfortunately it is really costly to ship overseas in most instances.

Yes, Eden should give their international customers a break more often.

Especially with the recent increase in shipping fees, I'm not making nearly as many purchases as I would if there was a better shipping rate in place. It sucks.

I almost placed an order for a DVD I've been wanting, but the cheapest shipping option to Canada was 22$. That's ridiculous.
