Do you or have you ever experienced? I am not a stranger to this similar pain during vaginal sex, but I was wondering if this is normal during anal sex as well. When my SO and I practiced this, I ended up with a strong pain in my lower stomach for a while.

Sounds like air is being introduced and causing pressure - but for me, no pain when doing anal.

Sounds like gas. I get this from time to time from anal; it also happens from vaginal too. I find getting up in doggy style and relaxing helps get the air out. Seriously, you just need to have a big fart or queef.

Could be an air bubble, I guess.
Make sure you drink plenty of water (hydration of the tender tissue) and eat plenty of roughage.
If it gets worse, see a doctor.
