Have you heard of Steak and BJ day?
I suggest the guy who wants to celebrate steak and blow job day should tuck a link to a site about it in with the valentines day flower arrangement or box of jewelry. The reciprocal assumption is that she got dinner, gifts and romance on the V-day. If not I totally encourage the partner who got nothing for v-day, to celebrate steak and blow job day with a card that says "to celebrate steak and blow job day I got you this card."

I think this is silly. Vday, in my opinion is NOT just for the women. I also think that women who expect it to be all about them are being selfish. It is a day for love and romance, not being spoiled silly. If my partner is the type to want to do something nice for me on vday, TRUST that I will match or exceed the effort. If they aren't into celebrating just because of the day of the month it happens to be, that is cool too. I like steak, beer, and giving a really good BJ, so there really isn't any reason to dedicate a new day to it. Obligation takes all of the fun out of it.

I LOVE steak, and we have sex often enough so that this wouldn't be a big deal for us.
I did forget yesterday was Pi Day. I didn't make a pie, but we had Pop Tarts. Does that count?

I think it's a good idea actually, to me any day that encourages couples to take time out to have bonding and intimacy is great. Though I agree, to me Valentine's Day is not about the woman - to me it's more of a couples day. Sure, some of us regularly partake in that time with our partner - but not everyone does.
