It's always nice to see him shoot a big load. I don't think it's really any kind of affirmation. It's more of a kink thing. If one is using his hand to finish himself off, a guy can restrict the urethral opening and cause the ejaculate to 'shoot' further which may be more satisfying if that is what one of you is into. The narrower the urethra, the more it will 'shoot'.

I find that it varies. I don't think that I guy can be strictly a "shooter" or a "dribbler", since things like the method of stimulation, personal health, and duration of abstinence can each contribute significantly.

I'm fine with either really. They've both got upsides and downsides I suppose, but in the end as long as he's ejaculating period and happy with it, I'm happy with it.
