I love high end toys, and WISH there was a AA or AAA battery option in them. Disposable batteries are SO easy and cheap to replace...and NO PLANNING AHEAD to keep things "charged".

How do YOU feel about it?

I'd go with disposable. I always have batteries on hand and I hate having to remember which charger goes with which toy. Or if I put the charger away before the kids ask what it's for.

Rechargable. The only disposable batteries I have right now are for my calculator.

Rechargeable as long as there's no trade off in power. I get tired of buying batteries for everything in the house.

haha, I'm in the same situation. I have my 4 batteries for my TI-84 and that's it. Rechargeable all the way!

I prefer the rechargeable - I usually put them on the charger after using them - so they are ready to go for the next opportunity.

I would use the battery-powered one. I don't like having to leave toys out to charge, and if the rechargeable battery dies, then I have to buy an entirely new toy. Plus I use Eneloops, which are so much more convenient and discreet when charging.

Rechargeable. It doesn't help that the battery-power toys I've had have all been weaker.
