Nope. They're not mostly the same. The wedge/ramp combo comes with both the wedge and the ramp, and is, at least in my opinion, a great combo. I don't have the ramp, but have wanted it.
The conversion kit is just the covers, you don't get the pillows.
The flip ramp is probably similar to the ramp.

We just got the flip ramp, and though we haven't tested it yet I did get on the ramp in various positions to test comfort. It was far more comfortable with a wedge to elevate my head when I would lie back on it, so I'd suggest either getting the wedge/ramp combo or getting a wedge to go with the flip ramp. The regular wedge might be too big to fit properly, but I have one from the decor series that fits perfectly well on the more narrow flip ramp.
I think we would have gotten the wedge/ramp combo if it hadn't been a question of discretion and storage. The flip ramp is currently our comfortable new ottoman at the foot of the bed, and no one is the wiser.

if you are limited on storage space, like most people are; the flip ramp works great. it folds up for easy storage. and if you have no where to put it out of sight, liberator sells a cover that turns it into a foot rest looking piece of furniture. the wedge is also a good one. I do not have the combo, because I have no where to store the ramp.
