My favorite is the 2 to 3 hour marathon. It's one of the reasons morning sex isn't my favorite (hell, yeah, I'll DO IT, I'll have sex anytime, I just love night time sex a lot more.) We don't have time in the morning, a lot of the time for marathons. Then I get worried, which is like, the worst thing when you are trying to have an orgasm, then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Yesterday morning, I was raring to go, and we got up late (6:30 is late for us to start sex) and I thought I would come really easily, and it ended up taking me well over 20 minutes (he came first, which is unusual, then I realized he had an agenda, "I got shit to DO!" ) and I wasn't DONE and he was up and shoveling the fucking snow, while I was still rolling around on the bed. *sigh*
And a quickie this morning and now he is getting a cold and went to be early, with a Nyquil buzz on, and here I sit....

I said 40 to 60 minutes on average, but it really depends on what we are doing. If we are watching a porno, it will take longer. Or, if I got all dressed up in a sexy leather corset, I will definitely make it last longer than an hour.

Our foreplay begins in the morning, continues throughout the day with gratification taking place in some form or fashion at night. Sometimes we physically play for hours, sometimes it's for few minutes, and most of the time it's in between.

And, who says it has to be over just because he came? He can certainly continue to stimulate you after he has had his orgasm. (The only time My Man rushes if he he has told me beforehand "Let's have a quickie. I have to get to work/get some stuff done." ect. He also knows that a quickie almost always mandates a long marathon later that day.
You can always try to prolong it by pulling away and teasing him before he comes. Tell him you have "an idea" and bring out a toy or stop in the middle for a massage, or let him know he gets his after you have had your orgasms, and take your time.
Really, the best way to solve this is to talk to him.

I'd say quickies are about 20-30 minutes. Most sex is about 40-60 minutes. The marathon sessions can last for hours. I answered 30-60 to cover most of our average sex.

Most nights go for about 20 or 30 minutes, sometimes going closer to an hour. It usually depends on when we have to get up in the morning. The first time my current boyfriend and I had sex was over 3 hours, though. WOW.
