I never really even thought of not having sex because of something so silly an option. I think it is more pleasant for both people so long as you do things to keep the mess down, if you bleed enough to make a mess.

During my period, I am uncontrollably horny. We do it, put a towel down, and do the deed and clean up as normally. It's just as good-if not better than normal sex. I'm just glad my man is up for anything.

I am usually not interested in sex AT ALL during my period. I'm just too tired and irritable. And I wouldn't want to deal with the mess. When hubby and I have sex, we tend to move around a lot, just laying a towel down wouldn't do it. We'd need one of those over-priced throes.

I actually recently started using sea sponges for sex during my period. Works great for me after my heaviest days are over.

Has anyone tried the SoftCup? I started using them a couple of months ago and they're amazing. A big perk is that you can enjoy blood-free sex during that time of the month. Ever since I got my iud and my flow has been WICKED heavy I haven't been that into period sex. He says he doesn't care but I really don't ever feel that sexy when I have torrential downpours going on downstairs :/
