Do you still support Chik-Fil-A?

This. There isn't one in my area either but if I end up living near one I'm not likely to want to go there now because of them.

I'm vegetarian anyway so I've never eaten there, but I make a point not to.

Someone mentioned Target. They've changed their stance on marriage equality, here's an ad:

Also, the Salvation Army is a Christian organization that is against marriage equality. For the person who mentioned what Target supports, they support children and education in a big way. Part of their profits go to local public schools and when you get a Red Card, you choose the school you want your percentage to go to.

I try to avoid them; and other companies that blatantly serve hate as one of their products.

If we don't care about a business's politics, then hateful people will continue to amass money and power. I will not knowingly give money to anyone who is anti-equality, or who profits from slave labor, or who just generally makes the world a worse place. Sometimes you're stuck -- you can't live and work in America in the 21st century without a computer, and good luck finding one with 100% slavery-free components, but nobody needs cheap mass produced chicken sandwiches. There are plenty of local stand-alone restaurants to support, or other ways to obtain food.

Businesses can preach the Bible all they want, and that's fine with me, but they need to read it more carefully before they put their money into hatred. That's not what Jesus is about.

What I don't understand is why people are so shocked by this information. Chick-fil-a has always been an open about being run by Christian values, posts Bible quotes in their restaurants, is closed on Sundays, etc. I've assumed all these years that their corporate arm chose to hold hands with prejudiced organizations, too.

Being a vegetarian I have no reason to go there. Plus, I have moved to a area that doesn't have one around anyways. Plus, I hate fast food. But if I was still living where I use to live (which had plenty of these restaurants) and wasn't a vegetarian that loved fast food, no I wouldn't go to one. I will not knowingly put money into ignorant pockets.

I don't really eat there I think I have been MAYBE once or twice. Politics is whatever I believe marriage should be able to happen between two people who love each other man and woman, woman and woman or man and man! Love is a beautiful think no matter what

This isn't about them just being against gay rights, it's about them actively giving resources to organizations trying to take them away. It's not just marriage either, they want to take ALL rights from us. So yeah, I'd rather give my money elsewhere.
