Most people associate those two terms and similar ones with sexual orientation rather than gender identity. Very common, I hear it all the time among my friends in a support group on facebook

From what I have read on queer blogs, Demisexuality is where you do not experience initial sexual attraction to someone but sexual attraction only after an emotional relationship has been established.

Demisexuals are characterized by a lack of sexual attraction toward any person unless they become deeply emotionally or romantically connected with a specific person or persons. The level of connection it takes for sexual desire to form is dependent on how close the relationship is rather than initial attraction. It is an orientation that is not chosen.

Angelica & Gunsmoke are right. -^^- It's a 'happy medium' between sexual and asexual. I only experience sexual attraction towards someone I have a very emotional attachment to. (my girlfriend being this person, of course.)

I voted other. I like boobs and cock, not necessarily at the same time :3 but I generally choose to form hetero relationships rather than homo, when I have a choice.

That's right . . I'm bi-sexual but choose to limit myself to society's norms x.x It kinda makes me feel like a total knob. But hey, religion and personal conviction, what're you gonna do?

So generally I call myself bisexual, but sometimes qualify that with 'hetero by choice'. I'm still attracted to the lovely ladies , and the best sex I ever had was with a wonderful plus-sized budding domme, but no more pussy for me in the foreseeable future . .

As to why I still hang out in this area . . well . . I still have fond memories that I can't quite let go of
