I still need to watch that movie all the way through. I'm trying to think of lesbian themed movies...not off the top of my head.

Bound as a serious movie and But I'm a Cheerleader for comedy. Oh, and Kissing Jessica Stein, just 'cause I like it.

The Kids Are Alright. A fantastic Indie. My Man and I just saw it a few weeks ago. I'm not a lesbian, so I don't know if it was completely accurate or not (although the couple, Julianne Moore and Annette Benning, seemed pretty similar to several of my lesbian friends in relationships) but I did think it was believable, unlike SO many movies that just use "lesbianism" as a way to sell movies and are unrealistic.

Any movie with TWO Lipstick Lesbians as a couple is usually awful and completely unrealistic. (It's one of the reasons I don't care for girl on girl porn....)

I want to see The Kids Are Alright.

My favorite is Imagine Me & You. Sooo romantic and I love it and beautiful. Like a good mainstream romance movie.

Better than Chocolate and The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love. I don't think either was a huuuge film when they came out, and there are cheesey bits, but both are really good. IMO.

Bound and But Im a Cheerleader were great ones for me. But I also enjoyed All over me and Muholland Drive although not lesbian themed per-say had some interesting parts.

Bound completely wins out for hotness and drama

But I'm a Cheerleader is campy and hilarious, and manages to be hot at some points too

Imagine Me & You was kinda chick flickish, but definitely cute

Yess to all of the above.
To anyone looking for more racial diversity, Red Doors is super cute.
