It's important to me that I feel like the dildo I'm using is my penis and that I connect with it or else I feel dysphoric during sex, so realistic coloring is something I look for. Before I came out as transgender I dated a lesbian and she preferred non-realistic colored dildos so I've gone that way too and it isn't bad but it definitely feels more like a toy to me when it's purple or something.

When I pack, I'd prefer it to be a natural color although no one would see it. It's a mental thing for me, like...if I'm going to put an effort into having a penis on my masculine days (I'm genderqueer and believe my gender identity varies from day to day, some days I'm more masculine, other's, more feminine), I'm going to want it to seem realistic to me. Other than that, colored is fun, and great. I used to color code my toys (as in, buy them all in the same one or two colors)

The "natural" colors bother me a lot more, actually, because I know they still wouldn't "match" my skin exactly. An approximation of realism that tries and fails is somehow worse.

I prefer to have an obviously different colored (i.e. red, blue, whatever) dick than a skin-tone one. I would guess that a lot of folks want something that matches their skin for minimizing dysphoria, but I don't get much of that... and having a bright blue cock kinda helps if I do. Honestly, at first I was strictly going for natural looking toys. However, now I realize that it can be fun to have a cock that isn't realistic. I think it depends what you mean by "natural" color, idk

So far I'm okay with having a packer of any color, mostly because I never have to pull it out/show it to anyone. I'm considering turning it into an STP/ getting one, though, so maybe I'll start caring for passing purposes

As far as dildos go, I have a pink one, which I kind of don't like. I feel like almost any other color would be better--- maybe it's because it's that gel-y like material, also, so I don't like the way the pink looks on that.

I think if it were a different color/different color on a different material, I might like it more/ might use it more
