I use Host Gator, which is a pay service self hosting. As it's self hosted, anything that isn't illegal is allowed content. It runs on WordPress (the self hosted version - .org). There's a learning curve with the themes and getting the content to look just so. I switched to self hosting about a week after I started my site because I wanted complete control over my content. To me, not worrying about someone taking down my site is worth the cost. Plus I can customize my layout a lot more.
