Beat the Heat

We lost power fron sunday around 10 am utill this afternoon. It was so hot inside and outside. So we packed up the family and headed down to the creek and basicly camped out in the shade and near fresh water. It was so cool down in the hollar and we loved the water. Honestly I don't know how we would have made it at the house in 101 degree weather with no power or water.

That all sounds like a blast! I live in the desert so to beat the heat we headed to the beach, which is quite a drive. Well worth it though.
