My partner and I are itching to get the hell outta dodge and have finally coordinated so that we each can get time off at the same time (a rare occasion). Now we are left to figure out where we can go to for about 7-10 days first week of Sept on a reasonable budget.

Las Vegas . (yes, I do have it on the brain) We're currently checking room rates and airfare and trying to decide where to stay - room rates can be amazingly cheap, as can airfare. You don't have to gamble there, either - there's a lot of free and inexpensive things to do.

do you live in the east or west states? If you are close to vegas, you can get good deals.
