Would you ever..?

Regift an item? Do you feel like it's morally wrong to regift something? I've struggled with gifts that were given to me that were horrendous, trying not think, "Well I'd rather have not received this," and wondered if I could give it to someone who WOULD enjoy it. What do you think about this?

Haha about an hour ago I unwrapped a gift from my mom and instantly thought, "Yes, now I don't have to get my friend a gift I can just re-gift these leggings."

I don't think it is a bad thing to do but I would never tell anyone that I didn't appreciate their gift. I was just super thankful I could scrimp a little this Xmas.

I think it is a good thing to regift. This year I have already recieved several hand creams and lotions that I would not use. They are very nice, but I have a brand I prefer and I am very picky, and I only use that one kind. Tonight I'm going to a dinner party and the hostess is getting... you guessed it a basket with all those lotions and creams I'll never use. It makes sense to me. She will be happy. We are good friends and she's been the happy recipient of these items before. She will select the ones she likes and pass the others to her daughter. On it goes till they find a happy home. It's better than letting them go to waste! I will also include a bottle of wine purchased just for the occasion, but I'm all for regifting.

Yes and no. I often give the things I don't want to other people, but not as a "gift," so to speak. I mean, I don't wrap them up, but I get rid of them. Newest gift was for free tanning sessions...I am terribly pale and burn easily, plus, I don't like tanning beds. So I will give the sessions to someone who can use them.

I'm about to. I got a gift certificate to a nail salon and thought "hooray! a gift for my son's teacher!"

Only things like gift cards to stores I know I'll never shop at. I usually just keep things I don't care for until someone comes along that likes it.

I don't think so.
I've never really gotten anything that I want to regift. My family just gives a lot of money, usually.

My family generally gets me things that I would never use. My sister is a mommy and straight, and would get a better use out of many of the things they give me. So I tell her what I don't want, and she picks out what she wants! It has always worked that way. We usually swap things all of the time!
