Three Days Grace just released their new CD October 2nd, and I was really excited to to get it! But when I made my way to Best Buy today, I realized that their CD selection was very small compared to what it used to be. Not many people actually purchase CDs anymore. Therefore, what was the last CD that you bought?

Wow. I haven't bought a CD in years. I think the last I bought was the Lord of the Rings extended edition soundtracks? So, several years ago.

Its funny, because I actually got into a headed conversation with a guy on another social website about how I was pretty much stupid for paying for a CD, when I can just purchase the album online and download it.

Pretty sure that was the last one I bought. If it's something I'm really into, I like to buy the CD because I have a physical copy, and I can still put it on my computer and my mp3 player.

I've been given copies of albums since then - friends who think I'd like something they have (and I usually do like it). I just got Pink's latest last week from my aunt.

I still purchase CDs, that way if I don't like the album I can sell it on. One can't (legally) sell mp3s. In fact, one can't even leave one's mp3 collection to one's children.
