There are shows that I watch that even I can't understand why I watch them. It's pure entertainment...doesn' t mean they're talented or charming.

Occasionally I'll flip through the channels and find something that I'm like "That's awful", yet I'll continue to watch. I dunno why I do that...

I rarely ever watch TV, so shows are generally out. Movies are in though.

I started watching Gossip Girl during its first season due to some sort of extreme boredom, and still watch it without really knowing why...I love the outfits though.

And I love Glee too, but I'm not as embarrassed about that one.

lol, I am totally addicted to The Bad Girls Club. I don't ever like the girls but I think I just like to watch them do stupid shit to each other. I have this theory that BAD is just "bad girl" code for STUPID AND MEAN.

I honestly cannot stand "reality" shows. I have enough stress and issues to deal with others with Personality Disorders in my own life, that I don't need to see people behaving as if they have personality disorders during my free time.

Mythbusters is science and certainly not a "reality" show like shows which show people behaving like spoiled 3 year olds.

Those judge shows? I don't like to see people getting yelled at or raked over the coals much. We have enough trash in our area, I don't need to see them spew BS on TV.

As for things like The Bachelor and shows where people eat bugs for money, or simply sit around in houses and argue with each other, I honestly don't see the point. Things like this make my tummy hurt.

Sorry, I just can't watch them.

I have seen Hoarders a few times. It makes me feel better about my own less than "Martha" housekeeping skills. But, after one or two, it too, makes my tummy hurt. I saw Obsessions a few times. I have actual, real, diagnosed OCD. It is nothing like this show depicts it, show mostly unusual and, of course, outrageous behavior, the therapists used outdated methods (if you prevent an OCD sufferer from partaking in one compulsion, they will simply replace it with an other, less obvious one, that is Psychology 101, which I doubt any of the "therapists" on this show ever received higher than a C in.) OCD is a neurological illness and responds to therapy about as well as.....diabetes does. Meds that reset brain chemistry work, screaming at people to "Stop compulsing!" and physically restraining them from doing so doesn't work!

I have a weakness for skanky reality TV shows. I.E Jersey Shore and all the VH1 Reality shows (except for ray jay and brandy, and ocho cinco..)

Started watching Jersey Shore because Iw anted to see snooki get knocked out, the rest is history lol.

I watch Celeb Rehab religiously, along with Tough Love, and some other shows that have been on.

I must say my all time favorite guilty pleasure is retarted cartoons... Family Guy, American Dad, the weird shit they play on Adult Swim- and King of the Hill.

I do love the doc's but I don't hate that I love those... so they don't count for this, right?

I recently saw my first episode of Jersey Shore, and, um, wow... This show is popular for the sole purpose of making the rest of us feel better about our own lives sometimes being crappy, that has got to be the only logical explanation for it..
Definitely... I don't understand how those people can think that lifestyle is.. productive! It sickens me so much, I love to hate it! I do like Sammi though, she is my fave, as in the only one I actually like... Ugh lol

And I didn't want to make 4 posts in a row (bad enough I hit three) but for some reason Dr. Drew is sexy as hell to me... (@Girl with fire talking about working out to cleb rehab).

He never used to be but the healthier I become in my own life the more attracted I am to him!

I just spent 3 years without a TV and really didn't miss it, but now that I have one again, I'm kind of embarassed by the crap I end up watching. Teen Mom, various wedding shows, Millionaire Matchmaker, etc. I guess that when I actually am in the mood for TV, I want something totally brainless.

I watch a lot of TV, but I have recently discovered that I am much more productive without it. I am trying to talk my roommate and sister into getting rid of the cable. Not only would it save us 100 dollars a month, but as I work from home, I would get a lot more done without it. I have Netflix and that is enough for me. There is nothing on TV that is worth paying 1200 dollars a year for when I could be paying less than 100 dollars a year with Netflix.

I watch 4 things other than that the TV is rarely on. I watch Young and the Restless (been watching for 35 years, can't stop now), Desperate Housewives, Medium and Ghost Hunters. I DVR everything so I can watch at my convenience since my husband and son would never consider watching those with me.

I LOVE Project Runway (with the drama FF'd) and Man Vs. Wild. I don't consider either of those to be guilty pleasures.

But the one show that completely sucked me in with its headscratching, ludicrous, over-the-top, preposterously cheeseball one-liners? CSI:Miami. And that phase lasted a WHILE.

I am pretty picky with what I watch - so I don't consider most things Guilty Pleasures, just stuff I actually like. My dear husband, on the other hand, watches a ton of cheesy stuff (imho).
