Gail Carriger's "Parasol Protectorate" series - supernatural steampunk world. Premise: vampires, werewolves, and ghosts are integrated into the British Empire, and the laws of physics allow steam technology to develop ... add tea and mix with a comedy of manners. The author refers to her work as "teapunk".
I might end up being a vampire drone, although I wouldn't mind being a werewolf claviger. They are the human servants/ courtiers/ resident artists of vampire hives and werewolf packs, and tend to be extremely creative - they also have a chance of being changed if they survive the transformation process.

It's really a toss up between Star Trek and Harry Potter.
In Star Trek I would probably be Trill or Andorian. I would be either a science officer or medical. Most likely science.
In Harry Potter I'd be a witch and I'd love to teach Potions since I love Chemistry in real life. Though Charms does fascinate me as well.
