Apparently, I am not the only one on this forum who likes anime. So... since music is certainly a part of anime, and there are some fairly iconic anime theme songs. What anime songs do you really like?

In my opinion Yoko Kanno is a brilliant composer. My favorite song of hers is the opening theme for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. You can hear the complete song here. She also wrote the music for Escaflowne, Cowboy BeBop and a few other series.

I love that song too!

I also liked "Duvet" from Boa for Lain.

The amazing Yoko Kanno . I'm a big fan of the music she did for Escaflowne and Cowboy Bebop, and the Maaya Sakamoto albums she composed for. She has an insane amount of versatility.

Another favorite soundtrack: Revolutionary Girl Utena by J.A. Seazer. ...zettai unmei mokushiroku!...

Oh my gosh I totally missed this topic. I love all the songs listed here! The Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex songs are some of my favorites!

There is also a song from Bleach I really love Rie Fu - "Life is Like a Boat" I really connected with it during a certain part of my life.

The song Gravity from Wolf's Rain I think is really beautiful too?

The Studio Ghibli soundtracks are the best, but it's hard to pick just one.
Other favorites include the Last Exile, Gunslinger Girl, Esclaflowne movie, and .hack//sign soundtracks.
