I love to read mystery and romance. There are times I like to read Sci-fi though. I enjoy being able to slip into another world and escape reality. When I read; I like to be able to slip into the main character's shoes and feel like I am experiencing everything that they are.

I tend to zone out a lot when I read. I can fully focus on a book and completely block out everything else around me. I love that feeling.

I can't even pick one specific genre, I pretty much like some of everything. But lately I've been reading realistic fiction, or dystopian/post-apocaly ptic books. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood is really good. I also like TC Boyle (his shorts specifically). I've been reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, and I really need to read American Gods and Good Omens by Neil Gaiman.
