Do you watch the Wizard of Oz on Thanksgiving?

No. I like the movie, but don't really associate it with Thanksgiving. We usually end up watching the National Dog Show lol

When I was a kid, it was tradition for the local Kansas City station to play Mary Poppins, which was always interrupted in the middle by the televised holiday-lighting at the Country Club Plaza. For years, I never knew what happened during the time they spent inside the chalk picture.

I heard of The Wizard of Oz being played on Thanksgiving, but I was already old enough to help cook, so I never had time to watch TV-anything on that day. I don't even watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

No. Used to every year when I was younger...but I've seen it so many times, I just can't handle watching it anymore.

Oh, and for those wondering what the Wizard of Oz has to do with Thanksgiving...there's a TV channel (or channels, can't remember which one... maybe TNT?) that plays the movie every year on Thanksgiving.

No. I lost my virginity to my girlfriend at the time while the Wizard of Oz was playing on the TV in the room. There was another couple in the room as well and it was a freaky night. Now for some reason, I guess the great memory, I can't bring myself to watch that movie with my wife because of what I'm thinking about.
FYI...I'm not thinking about my ex, she's passed on, just the memory of the wild sex that happened my first time.

I usually do. I didn't this past year, since I was at my in-laws house. Which is weird...it's my mother in law's favorite movie
