The only scent I can think of off hand that is revolting to me, is eggs. Everything else I can generally handle.
Something that EVERYONE seems to like, but I just can't stand the smell off (doesn't make me want to gag, I just don't like it) is vanilla.

You should see how many other people in the thread dislike Vanilla! Then you won't feel so alone. ;D

I can't even think of what patchouli smells like... I know it's a plant, but that's about all I've got. There seem to be a ton of people who dislike that too.

I despise the smell of roses. we had a person go into the shop that smelt worse than a french Whore House. She was so strong that she literally took your breath away.

These are very interesting...esp the revolting ones.

Smells that revolt me are: Musky/perfumy strong scents, tuna, mustard, hard boiled eggs, indian food, cilantro, poison perfume

I love vanilla, cinnamon, citrus smells.

Does anyone remember the perfume "Vanilla Fields"? God that stuff was terrible!!

I do have a mighty-strong love for the perfume "Sand & Sable" though. The sandalwood in it just makes me feel nostalgic.

Cinnamon, Musk, Pine (or most other holiday scents) and most Vanillas I find revolting, although there are certain Vanilla scents I can handle. I like Jasmine, Rose and some citrusy scents the best and can only deal with Coconut if it's mixed with something else like Pineapple.

The only scent I really dislike across the board is florals. Hate, hate hate. I can't stand em and it's crazy to me that they're so popular
